Chritsmas TakeAway Art Fair

With 50+ contributor's to our gallery space, 10 market stalls, including 2 food vendors - our Christmas edition of the TakeAway Art Fair saw over 450 people through our doors (including Santa himself!). I respectfully acknowledge the Arrernte people of Mparntwe, the traditional custodians of the land on which I live, create art, work and engage. I pay my respects to Elders past and present, as well as to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the wider Central Desert and Northern Territory communities and beyond. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded.

 

I acknowledge the important role that storytelling and community has played on these lands for thousands of years and feel privileged to work alongside communities continuing the creative practice of the oldest surviving culture in the world.
