About
Zoë is an arts manager, curator, facilitator, educator and creative originally from Naarm / Melbourne, now based in Mparntwe / Alice Springs. She has a Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Melbourne, graduating with first class honours and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design from RMIT.
Zoë excels at creating socially accessible spaces, with a particular interest in working with young people from culturally diverse backgrounds and those who experience barriers to creative participation. Through her professional creative practice, she seeks to explore the importance of care, connection and sustainability within creative settings, and how these factors affect an individual's confidence and understanding of their own creativity.
Her time working within commercial galleries and advertising acted as the catalyst for launching her conversational and engaging classes, Council Street Life Drawing and facilitating sustainable craft workshops. In 2022, she founded Nabe Studios in Kensington, a community-minded arts space with artist studios.
Zoë now lives in Mparntwe / Alice Springs in 2024, where she continues to work within creative events and youth engagement.
